My Own Private Zen

We all need a relaxing place to call our own. I've decided to take advantage of my large backyard and create a peaceful oasis. I call this my "Everything Zen" spot. My local home improvement store had most of what I needed to transform my yard into a land of tranquility. I planted a Japanese garden with plants, rocks and running water fountain. It's amazingly serene. My "lucky bamboo" is my favorite plant. I even erected a wooden fence around my garden to keep the critters out. I love my garden statues, too. The magical garden gnomes and faerie animals are favorites as well. For me, a fantasy-themed oasis is my means of escape. When you have a demanding household as I have, anything you can do to create a space of your own is a positive thing.
